Yes. Tile of America assesses the substrate and floor framing before quoting because older coastal homes can crack tile when movement, moisture, or an unsuitable surface is left uncorrected. Ceramic tile requires L/360 stiffness, while natural stone requires L/720.
We also check for uneven framing, self-leveling needs, crawlspace moisture, and older materials such as 9-by-9 vinyl tile over black mastic. Potential asbestos is identified before the scope is written and handled by a licensed abatement professional when required.
Route 6 Coverage
Yes. Tile of America covers the full Route 6 corridor from Bourne to Provincetown, including every Outer Cape town, with no travel fee. Scheduling those communities is part of our normal calendar, not a special trip.

Warranty
Every Tile of America installation includes a one-year written warranty. It covers water leaks in showers and wet areas, loose or hollow tile, and grout that cracks or separates because of workmanship.
If a covered issue occurs within the first year, we return and repair it at no cost. The warranty terms are provided in writing before work begins.

We build showers on two independent waterproofing layers because a failure hidden behind closed tile is not inspectable after the job closes. Since we opened, we have never been called back for a shower leak.
