Most shower leaks are not tile failures. The failure happens behind the tile, in the waterproofing and the subfloor, before the first tile is ever set.
We build showers on the Schluter Kerdi system with two independent waterproofing layers, one more than the manufacturer requires, on Kerdi-Board and GoBoard panels. Since we opened in 2022, we have never been called back for a shower leak.
We also look under the floor before we quote. Whether the floor is out of level, whether there are bellies in the framing, and what leveling the subfloor actually needs. Every tile goes in with levelers, so there is no lippage.
Every job comes with a one-year written warranty. If a shower leaks, a tile comes loose, or grout cracks within that year, we come back and repair it at no cost to you.
